Tahoe Women's Services and Project MANA are collaborating for a second year to put on the Chocolate, Wine and Roses Festival, a fundraising event that is now in its 22nd year in North Tahoe. This year, Chocolate, Wine and Roses is going Vintage Hollywood for its first-ever themed event. Guests are encouraged to dress the part and come as their “inner” Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin or other Hollywood idol from the 30s, 40s and 50s era. The Chocolate, Wine and Roses Festival will be held on Nov. 6, at The Chateau at Incline Village after a four-year run at the North Tahoe Conference Center. In an unprecedented move for the event, only 300 tickets will be available to the general public and sold in advance on the web. Tickets are $75 and will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Sept. 7.
