Salon brings world-class hair and nail treatment

Lorán Lorán Atelier, a new luxury nail and hair salon, has opened its doors in Incline Village.

Stylist Lorán Arvizu and esthetician Kymberly Whitaker opened the doors to the first Loran Loran more than 20 years ago in Palm Springs, and have developed a luxury salon for high-end clientele.

The new Incline salon mirrors the larger Lorán Lorán salons in such places as Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs and New Port Beach.

“The reason we opened up a salon in Incline Village was to follow our clientele,” Whitaker said. “Many of our clients have second homes in Tahoe and we wanted to bring our services to them, no matter where they may be.

“All our salons are in resort-type areas and Incline Village just seemed like a perfect fit.”

The staff of the salon promises to stay on top of new styles, services and high-quality products Whitaker said.

The salon has the latest technology in sanitation with massage and whirlpool action.

Hair treatments are not just a shampoo and color, Whitaker said.

“Many of our clients are world travelers,” she said. “We want to give our clients and Incline a place to receive the treatments or services they can get in big cities such as Los Angeles or New York.

“We wanted to bring a little more up-to-date progress in Incline.”

The salon will be celebrating their grand opening from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23. On Saturday, Feb. 24, legendary stylist Lorán Arvizu will be working in the salon.

The salon offers 20 percent off any service until the end of the month.
