Dressing the Part for Valentine's Day

Admit it, in this day and age when you flip the pages of a fashion magazine or when you turn on the television and the media lets us know immediately when a glamorous movie star or actor gains a pound, succumbs to plastic surgery or is wasting away to nothing, you take one look at yourself in the mirror and start questioning your whole state of being.

We all wear different hats during the day. Whether you categorize yourself as a carpool-soccer mom, a fast wheeling business person, a compassionate friend or a supportive partner, not one title can identify who you totally are... or could be.

One easy and quick way to do a quick makeover without the hassle of plastic surgery is changing your clothing, your wardrobe or your style. Clothing can and should enhance what is going on inside your head, make you feel good about yourself and present just one of the many aspects of your personality.

Wearing something different conveys that you don't want to be pigeonholed into a stereotyped image and that you don't take yourself too seriously.

What better time for an excuse to try something new or perhaps a little naughty to play a different part that you usually do than on Valentine's Day?

Have fun, be creative and remember it takes two to tango. When you are able to please and surprise someone else you may find that you will be pleasantly surprised yourself. Happy Valentine's Day.
