Mountain Course awarded

Print Comment
Golf Range Magazine recognized the Incline Village Mountain Golf Course as one of the "Top Short Courses in America" for 2006.

This is the second year in a row that the course received this award.

The criteria for judging included layout and design, customer service, community outreach and community involvement.

"After sifting through hundreds of submissions from freelance writers," said Steve di Costanzo, President and Founder of Golf Range Magazine, "we chose courses that are making a contribution to the golf industry."

The staff at the Incline Village Mountain Course is very proud to receive the award.

Some of the other courses named to the list are: Desert Willow Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada, Charles Yates Golf Course in Atlanta, Georgia and Blue Heron Golf Course in Stevensville, Maryland.

The Incline Village Mountain Golf Course has also been nominated for many years as "Best in Tahoe Golf" by Tahoe locals in the North Shore and Truckee Action and has been recognized for customer loyalty by the National Golf Foundation for three consecutive years.

Incline Village is located on the north-east shore of Lake Tahoe in Nevada.
