Incline Pop Warner team ready for home playoff game and other sports briefs

Incline Pop Warner team ready for home playoff game

The North Tahoe Rams, a Pop Warner football team composed of Incline Village athletes, will play a home playoff match at 10 a.m. Saturday at Preston Field.

The Rams (5-2) will play the Carson City Silver, which also is 5-2. Both teams are members of the Mighty Mites League.

"We're 5-2, which is unheard of for an Incline team," said coach Dennis Perry.

Perry said if the Rams win, then they will play another game next weekend against a team with a similar record. If the team loses, it still will play next weekend, again against a team with a similar record.

For more information on how to sign up for future Pop Warner leagues, contact Perry at (775) 240-0682.
