The following are reports submitted by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Incline Village Substation for Sept. 4-10.
Wednesday, Sept. 5
Two soccer goals were stolen from the IVGID fields. A report was taken.
Reporting person said that a bear was walking down Harold Drive. By the time deputies arrived, it was gone.
A male suspect was stopped for traffic offenses and found to never have held a valid driver's license; nor did he have any identification whatsoever.
A reporting person found a victim lying on the floor and unresponsive. The North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District handled the rescue.
Reporting person found a wallet containing approximately $1,000 at Chimney Beach. A deputy took a report and was unable to locate owner.
A person reported a fight was possibly taking place on Robin Drive. Deputies responded and were unable to locate any disturbance.
A person reported he had possibly seen the reflection of an aircraft on the top of Freel Peak in El Dorado County. A deputy completed a report. Deputy also faxed a copy of the case to emergency management.
Fire responded to a hotel on a report of a subject who was bleeding from the face. WCSO units responded and found an elderly male had accidentally fallen and injured his face.
Deputy made a traffic stop on Country Club Drive and identified the driver. Deputy located empty bags similar to narcotic bags located in the past few months. Further investigation revealed he was under the influence of marijuana. Driver was arrested for DUI-drugs and transported to the hospital for a blood draw. Deputy also located a small amount of marijuana and a pipe.
Thursday, Sept. 6
A suspect was stopped and arrested for DUI on State Route 28.
A reporting person observed a vehicle driven by a female hit an unoccupied parked car on Stateline Road and then left the area. Owners of both vehicles were located and the female driver was cited for hit and run.
Reporting person stated an unknown subject damaged the door frame to his residence on Wedge Court sometime during the night. Deputy took a report.
Friday, Sept. 7
Deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as a juvenile female, 17. She displayed signs and symptoms of intoxication, subsequently failing a field sobriety test. When deputies attempted to place her into custody, she became violent and kicked a deputy in the legs several times. When she was placed in the rear of deputy's patrol unit, she attempted to kick out the right rear passenger window.
Saturday, Sept. 8
A traffic stop on Country Club Drive resulted in a male resident being arrested for DUI.
A traffic stop on Country Club Drive resulted in a female resident being arrested for DUI.
A person reported a possible juvenile party off Mays Boulevard. Deputies responded and were eventually met by two male subjects who denied entry into the condo.
Sunday, Sept. 9
Deputies responded to a report of a disturbance on Tahoe Boulevard. It turned out to be a barking dog and deputies were unable to make contact.
A reporting person requested that a deputy check the area around her residence for a bear that had broken into the residence in the past. The deputy was unable to locate the bear.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Tahoe Boulevard. Suspect had been drinking and subsequently failed a field sobriety test, at which point he was arrested for DUI.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Tahoe Blvd. of a suspect who subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a suspect on Highway 431. Suspect was arrested for DUI.
Deputy detained a highly intoxicated male subject on Alder Avenue for possession of a controlled substance and he was transported to the Washoe County Detention Facility by the Constable's Office. Subject had been medically cleared by the hospital and registered a .3 BAC.
Reporting person was concerned that subcontractors may have made copies of residence and vehicle keys. Their locks are being changed.
While en route to Sand Harbor, a deputy located an injured male bicyclist with a cracked helmet and trauma to his face on State Highway 28. The subject was identified and was transported by ground ambulance to Renown Health Care. Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded and completed the investigation. It does not appear there was any vehicle involvement.
All units responded to Tanager Street in an attempt to locate a runaway 15-year-old who lives there with her boyfriend. There was no answer at the door and neighbors reported they had not seen any activity at this location for approximately a week.
According to one of the neighbors, the couple frequents the local beaches. Units checked the sign in logs at each beach with negative results.
Deputies were unable to locate the pair.
Reporting person from a local resort told police she heard screaming coming from the lake.
When she looked out the window she noticed a turned over kayak and a male subject hanging from the side. Marine #9 Alpha launched and was first on the scene.
Deputy was able to recover the subject who told the him that due to high winds, he was unable to get back to the shore. Deputy towed the kayak back to Sand Harbor.
Reporting person told police a male and female were arguing at their Tahoe Boulevard home. Deputies responded and found a verbal argument had taken place. A report was taken.
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Ponderosa Avenue and identified the driver. The passenger was found to have an active misdemeanor warrant out of California with a $1,500 cash only bail.
Monday, Sept. 10
Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a suspect who was driving on a suspended license and was in possession of narcotics on Tahoe Blvd. Subject was arrested.
Deputy checked on a vehicle running in a parking lot on Tahoe Blvd. Two occupants were arrested for narcotics.
Suspect was stopped for various violations on Country Club Drive. He was found to have no driver's license and no identification.
A mother reported her daughter had run away. Deputy completed the investigation.
Call initially came out as "subject down" with unknown trauma to head. The victim had fallen from a ladder.
Reporting person arrived at station with a recovered Placer County juvenile. Per the mother's request, deputy issued a citation and released the juvenile to the mother.
