PrintEmail Last Thursday in the Cal-Neva Lodge's Indian Room, seven boys from Incline Village Cub Scout Pack 37 were welcomed into Boy Scout Troop 37. Members of the Order of the Arrow Ceremonies team were on hand to present six of the boys with their Arrow of Light, the highest award possible in Cub Scouting.
The six, plus one more boy, then "crossed the bridge" into Boy Scouting during the traditional Four Winds Bridge Crossing Ceremony. Additionally, the boys crossed from California to Nevada.
About 75 people attended the event, including youth, their families and assorted local dignitaries. Pack 37 and Troop 37 thanks Monica Spears and the Cal-Neva for their support of scouting in the community.
