Senior recital today at SNC
Sierra Nevada College student Katherine Ramsey will be giving a senior recital at 8 p.m. today in Patterson Hall.
Ramsey has been involved in the Sierra Nevada College choir and taking voice for all four years of her time at the college. She is an art major. Ramsey will be singing arias from Carmen, Samson and Delilah, Don Giovanni, Carmina Burana, and La Boheme.
There will be two guest singers, Kevin Beiswenger and David Pierce. Donna Axton will be accompanying.
Villagers can join new chess club
Anyone interested in joining a new chess club in Incline Village are invited to call Toomas Rebane at (775) 831-9456. The club is open to all levels, from beginners to experts.
Incline Village/Crystal Bay Veterans Club to meet again Thursday
The Incline Village/Crystal Bay Veterans Club will meet from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at Aspen Grove Community Center, 960 Lakeshore Blvd. The Incline Village/Crystal Bay Veteran's Club will be having itsmonthly meetings on the last Thursday of each month. Veterans and community members of all ages are welcomed to pack a lunch and join the club as it determines projects that will benefit the community and the world.
