The following are incident reports submitted by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office Incline Village Substation for March 18 through 24.
Tuesday, March 18
Deputies stopped a male driver on Tahoe Boulevard because he recognized the man as having outstanding warrants out of California. Deputies were able to arrest the man without incident.
Deputies noticed a man yelling in a parking lot off of the 800 block of Tahoe Boulevard. When they approached him, the man turned his verbal tirade at the deputies, complaining about law enforcement. Deputies did not arrest the man but did take a report of a disturbance.
A male driver was stopped for speeding in the area of the intersection of Mays Road and Lakeshore Boulevard. When deputies approached the man, it was determined he was intoxicated. He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
On the above stop, a male passenger was also asked to leave the car because he had an open container. It was determined that he was very intoxicated and he was arrested for having the open alcohol container.
Wednesday, March 19
A man reported entering his home on the 900 block of Tahoe Boulevard when he heard the voice of a relative behind him. The relative punched him in the face and assaulted him over an unknown problem. The relative was gone when deputies arrived, so they asked a judge to issue an arrest warrant for the man.
A deputy observed a male driver fail to stop at a stop sign on College Road. When he pulled the man over, the driver couldn't produce any identification. The deputy arrested the man for missing the stop sign and carrying no identification.
Thursday, March 20
Deputies received a phone call about a fight on the 800 block of Tanager Street. Deputies located several people with blood on their clothing, but none were injured badly and all denied a fight took place. Deputies took a report.
A man was pulled over for driving with suspended plates while traveling southbound on State Route 431. The man gave a fictitious name when arrested and produced no identification. He was arrested by the deputy and transported to the Washoe County detention facility in Reno.
Friday, March 21
Deputies received a telephone report of a man driving drunk away from a party in the area of Glen Rock Court. Deputies found the man and pulled him over, and determined he was intoxicated. He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Reports came in about a man drinking while driving in the area of the 700 block of Tahoe Boulevard. Deputies located the man and pulled him over. When they approached the vehicle, the man attempted to hide a beer can under his jacket and appeared intoxicated. He subsequently failed a field sobriety test and was arrested.
Saturday, March 22
A man was stopped while driving erratically without working tail lights on Lakeshore Boulevard. The man was intoxicated and deputies arrested him after he failed a field sobriety test.
A man was pulled over for speeding on State Route 431. Deputies discovered the man had no drivers license, no identification and no vehicle registration. The man was arrested and transported to the Washoe County detention facility in Reno.
A man was seen by a deputy riding his bike in the oncoming lane of traffic on Village Boulevard. The man waved, pointed and laughed at the deputy. The deputy stopped the man, who was visibly intoxicated, and arrested him for riding a bicycle in traffic and riding a bicycle while under the influence.
