The Second Anniversary Sale at Dress the Part(y) kicks off from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and runs until May 3.
It is the first really big sale for the store for the season.
Everything in the store will be on sale, ranging from a 50 percent discount on vintage clothing, 20 percent on party goods and packaged costumes and 10 percent on new spring merchandise, such as contemporary jewelry and clothing, accessories, evening dresses, shoes and other fashion items.
The sale will be a good opportunity for patrons to get a look at the store’s new spring and summer collections, said Linda Offerdahl, store owner.
“The 80s looks are hot right now, and 50s style poodle skirts and bowling shirts are always popular in the summer,” Offerdahl said. “Gatsby parties and the Fourth of July are also important summer themes.”
Offerdahl continued: “We are spring cleaning and restocking the store for summer. We have wonderful treasures for everyone, young and old.”
Dress The Part(y) is located in Village Center, across from the post office. Business hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For information call (775) 832-7278, e-mail dresstheparty@sbcglobal.net or go online at www.dressthepart.org.
