Obituary: Frances J. Wolf

Frances Wolf

Frances J. Wolf died at Carson Convalescent Center on May 19.

She was 91 years old.

She was born on October 23, 1916 in Bryn Mawr, Pa. and attended Lower Merion High School and secretarial college in New Jersey.

She initially worked as an operator for Western Union and subsequently as a payroll specialist for Standard Pressed Steel. Moving to Mountain View, Calif. in 1965, she was employed by Pacific Plan and the Robert A. McNeil Corporation as an executive secretary.

After retirement, Frances volunteered with cancer survivors at Washington Hospital in Fremont, Calif. She moved to Incline Village in 2000 and was a volunteer at the Incline Village Community Hospital and the Thrift Shop.

Frances is survived by her sister Mary Leyden of Sea Isle City, N.J .and brother Jack Coll of Havertown, Pa.; sons: Richard C. Wolf of Reno and Robert C. Wolf of Incline, daughters-in-law Wendy and Cathie, grandsons Robert and Ryan; granddaughters Julie and Karyn and great grand children: Kevin, Michael and Rachel.

There will be a memorial service at St. Dennis’ in Oakmont, Pa. and she will be interred with other family members.
