Fortress Construction believes in giving its customers a full-service home creation experience. From the first draft to the last brick, the company hopes to provide customers with excellent service each step of the way, said Rob Laurie, one of the company’s founders.

“We take the job from concept to completion,” Laurie said. “It is very appealing to a lot of clients to just deal with one entity. We can give them realistic costs up front and stay with them throughout the project until completion.”

Three of the company’s principals, Laurie, Matt Moffitt and John Albrecht, grew up together as friends in Incline Village, so they are very familiar with the area and the people, Laurie said.

Fortress Construction’s business is growing and expanding, Laurie said.

He said he thinks the business keeps growing because of a loyal customer base and word-of-mouth referrals.

“Once you do a good job for one client that word of mouth spreads and we have been getting good word-of -mouth,” he said.
