• A deputy was out on the WCSO jet ski on Lake Tahoe when he spotted a young male perched on a rock drinking a 40 ounce beer. The deputy stopped to talk to the male and he admitted he was 19 years old. A second subject showed up as well, though, and claimed he was 21 before amending his statement to show he was 20 years old. The deputy was going to cite the two for minors in possession of alcohol and asked if they had any more beer on them, which they denied. Upon further inspection, though, the deputy found a cooler full of beer belonging to the males. At that point he decided to arrest the pair.
• A vehicle was pulled over on Lakeshore Drive after failing to obey a stop sign. Deputies made contact with the driver to find the vehicle smelled heavily of marijuana. At that point, the man argued that he did indeed not pull out in front of the deputy. The deputy noted the man had false license plates and arrested him for that offense along with failing to yield. He also cited the man’s passenger, a juvenile, for minor in consumption of alcohol.
