An unidentified airplane is upside down in Lake Tahoe near Incline Village after a "harsh landing" took place about 11 a.m. Thursday.
While details currently are unknown as to the number of passengers or the type of plane in the water, Washoe County Sheriff's Office officials have confirmed there are no injuries. Officials referred to the incident as a "harsh landing."
WCSO and Marine 9 jet skis have taken off from Burnt Cedar Beach, where authorities are staging, to aid the crash victims.
