All Incline Village/Crystal Bay residents are invited to participate in the first annual Monster Dash. The 5-kilometer walk/run is a community fun run scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 18.

The run will start and finish at Incline’s Village Shopping Center on 797 Southwood Blvd. Participants are welcome to register either by picking up a form at the Incline public schools or registering on the day of the race between 10 and 10:59 a.m. the day of the race at the Village Shopping Center.

Registration is $20 for adults and $15 for students and includes a raffle ticket, good for prizes after the race. The first 100 racers registered are guaranteed a Monster Dash T-shirt.

Racers are encouraged to wear costumes in keeping with the Halloween theme.

Proceeds from the race will benefit the Incline High School track and field teams, and girls basketball teams.
