TRTA's Trail Fest this weekend

Trail Fest, in partnership with Alpenglow Sports, will be held in the heart of Tahoe City at Commons Beach, and will start at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 11, with guided hikes, mountain bike rides, kayaking, paddle boarding and a trail run, and will continue to 3 p.m. with live music by Downbeat, Drop Theory and Jim Baldwin, beer provided by New Belgium Brewing and an outdoor barbecue cooked up by Smokey's.

Throughout the day there will be an outdoor equipment expo with more than 25 vendors featuring merchandise such as Mountain Hardware, Jet Boil, Salomon, MSR, Chaco, Lowe Alpine and many more.
