INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — At the October meeting of the directors for Red, White and Tahoe Blue, Jim Smith was elected president. Smith is president and founder of Service Scouts, a business operations and customer care expert and a Parasol Community Service Volunteer Award winner in 2009.
“Jim brings a wealth of management leadership skills and enthusiasm to the board of Red, White and Tahoe Blue. His thoughtful and creative style will certainly contribute to an ‘all community' celebration that will benefit Incline Village and Crystal Bay,” said Allen Ferris, founding board member of RWTB.
Joining as directors are Heather Bacon, licensee of the Tahoe Biltmore; Joanne Devine, director of textbook and bookstore services at Sierra Nevada College; and April Marriner, owner of Liliatilt Design.
“The RWTB board is looking to work more actively with our local organizations and businesses this year. We are interested in getting input from the community since our wonderful Incline and Crystal Bay communities are the reason for this celebration,” Bacon said.
Tom Bruno, 2007 board president and founder of RWTB, was voted in as an Emeritus Member for his founding work and years of dedication to the event and the community.
In the spirit of community, RWTB has added a comments section to its website at www.redwhiteandtahoeblue.com, where residents and businesses can contribute their feedback from last year and their hopes and suggestions for the coming year.
