Retired Marine Corps Gen. Richard Neal, chariman of the board of the Military Officer Association of America presents the 4-star Level of Excellence award to retired Navy Capt., Dick Daleke, first vice president of MOAA's Lake Tahoe Chapter at its annual meeting in Coronado, Calif. Oct. 24.
The Lake Tahoe Chapter of the Military Officers Association of American received the 4-star Level of Excellence Award at the annual meeting of MOAA in Coronado, Calif. Oct. 24.
The award recognizes excellence in Chapter organization and services provided to local Junior ROTC programs and military veterans and their families. The Lake Tahoe Chapter is based in Incline Village with members from the greater Lake Tahoe Basin as well as Northern Nevada and Northern California.
Any active duty, National Guard, reserves or retired military officer is eligible for membership. The chapter holds dinner meetings with guest speakers several times a year. For information or to join contact retired Air Force Lt. Col. Roger leach at luv49er@charter.net or call (775) 831-3771.
