INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. —The following are incident reports submitted by the Washoe County Sheriff's Office for the week of Oct. 30- Nov. 5.
Friday, Oct. 30
• Deputies spotted a man speeding westbound on Southwood Boulevard and pulled him over. On contacting the man, deputies suspected he was intoxicated and subsequently arrested him after he failed a field sobriety test. A search of his car turned up a small amount of marijuana. He was arrested and charged with DUI, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and speeding.
Saturday, Oct. 31
• A male driver failed to stop at a stop sign on his way out of a bar on the 900 block of Tahoe Boulevard. Deputies pulled the man over to find he was visibly intoxicated, confirmed when he failed a field sobriety test. Deputies arrested the man for DUI, failure to stop and failure to yield right of way.
Sunday, Nov. 1
• Deputies were called to a local student housing building on the 900 block of Tahoe Boulevard when residents called to complain of a fight. They arrived to find a 19-year-old male subject standing at the door acting verbally combative. After arguing with deputies, the obviously intoxicated male was arrested. He was cited for resisting arrest and minor in consumption of alcohol.
Monday, Nov. 2
• No reports
Tuesday, Nov. 3
• Deputies took a report of an assault on Lakeshore Boulevard which resulted in no injuries.• Deputies took a report of a past-tense battery at a Crystal Bay-area casino.
• A man was cited for petty larceny after employees at a grocery store on Mays Road reported he stole a can of beer. Deputies recovered the unopened can and cited the man.
