Every Thursday in March, the Northern Nevada Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer its Basic Aid Training Course for youth ages 8 to 10 at 3 p.m. at the Incline Village Recreation Center. The first class begins Thursday, March 4. This course teaches basic skills and knowledge necessary for children to identify and prevent harmful situations, be able to treat common injuries and respond in emergency situations. Cost is $20 for all four sessions. The class limit is 15 students and is based upon a first-come first-serve basis, with advance registration required. Call (775) 298-0131 to register.
