INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — The Washoe County School District will hold another informational community seminar on Wednesday, April 21, at 6:30 p.m. at Incline Middle School.
The North Lake Tahoe Bonanza will provide live coverage of the event at www.tahoebonanza.com, beginning at 6:15 p.m.
The forum will follow a similar format as the Feb. 4 and March 11 school district-sponsored meetings at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center and Incline Elementary School, respectively.
The Feb. 4 "community seminar," which drew about 100 residents and parents, featured presentations from Deputy Superintendent Pedro Martinez; Serena Robb, who has been hired by the district to coordinate implementation at Incline schools; and Daryl DiBitonto, current IB coordinator at Wooster High School.
John Clark, Kathleen Watty and Sharon Kennedy — current administrators at Incline High, Middle and Elementary schools — also attended the meeting.
The March 11 meeting featured the same speakers and was decidedly less attended than the Feb. 4
Unlike previous meetings, the North Lake Tahoe Bonanza will not provide live coverage of Wednesday's forum via Cover It Live.
