Sidney Siesel Rice, 61, passed away unexpectedly the evening of May 11, 2010, surrounded and comforted by those that were closest to him.

A long-time resident and general contractor in Incline Village, Nev., he is survived by his son Benjamin, daughter Mikeala, sister Melissa Petersdorf and brothers Michael and Peter.

Sid was born in Milwaukee, and moved to Incline Village in 1981, where he began building and remodeling homes in the Lake Tahoe area. His attention to detail and focus on quality of work earned him his reputation as an outstanding craftsman.

Sid was a person that his friends could always count on, and was never too busy to lend a helping hand to those that needed it. He will be missed but not forgotten. A private service will be held for family and friends.
