Sandy Soli is an outdoorswoman that has found her place in our community in so many ways. She lives, works, raises her family and enjoys all that our area offers. But she is also committed to being a volunteer and helping our community when she is needed. This includes everything from coaching a youth soccer team to serving as PTA president.
Soli has lived here since 1993 and met her husband at Diamond Peak. They work together as Realtors for Intero Realty and their children attend Incline Elementary School.
Sandy has been involved in coaching a soccer team, helping with baseball teams, served as president of the Incline Village Nursery School, been involved in the Green Business Program, is now involved in the Incline Parks and Recreation Foundation, works as a fitness instructor for the Incline Village General Improvement District and is the president of the PTA at the Incline Elementary School.
“I love contributing to my community that supports our children and families and makes for a wonderful place to call home,” she said. “If more people committed just a small amount of time, imagine what we could do together.”
To satisfy her love of the outdoors she enjoys skiing, mountain biking and water sports along with teaching fitness classes. But she really loves the quality of life found in Incline with skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, boating, the lake, the beaches, pools and other recreational facilities in our community.
“This place is amazing and when our kids grow up they will truly understand how blessed they are that we choose this community to raise them,” Soli said.
Why would she say yes to being president of the PTA?
“So that I could help make a difference,” she said.
That is her philosophy in whatever she decides to tackle. She truly enjoys working with others to reach goals and improve where she can with her knack for organization and her own talents.
As for the PTA, along with the board Soli hopes to increase participation and communicate more with all of the families helping them to learn how the PTA works to support education and can help the community. The PTA is committed to integrating the Latin/Hispanic community and getting more Hispanic parents involved.
Sandy Soli is another great community volunteer and neighbor that makes Incline Village a special place to live.
“Volunteering is just something that I have always done as it makes me feel good as a person,” she said.
