Relive Mark Twain's western experience as portrayed in “Roughing it” by the Ghost of Twain, McAvoy Layne, on Friday, Sept. 3, at the Mark Twain Cultural Center. Also featuring “1601” a ribald fireside conversation that will make a cast iron dog laugh. This is history and humor for the intellectual stomach. Doors open at 6 p.m., show begins at 7 p.m. Bring your own picnic dinner, comfortable chairs and tables provided. Tickets are $19.99 for adults, $9.99 for students.
