From 3 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 24, the Pet Network Humane Society will host their second annual Purses for Pets fundraising event. This year the event will be held in the main ballroom of the Hyatt Regency, Spa, Resort & Casino in Incline Village. Pet Network staff is anticipating more than 500 purses, bags, clutches and totes to be available for bid. The event includes light refreshments, music and surprise door prizes. Individuals interested in donating a purse or bag can bring their donation to Pet Network's shelter at 401 Village Blvd. in Incline Village. Additional drop-off sites will be added soon and can be found on Pet Network's website www.petnetwork.org. Reno and South Lake Tahoe donation spots will be included as well.
