Transportation for seniors through the senior transportation program will be offered to Reno on Tuesday, Sept. 14 and Tuesday, Sept. 28; to Carson City on Tuesday, Sept. 21; to Truckee/Kings Beach/Local on Wednesday, Sept. 15 and local on Wednesday, Sept. 22, and Wednesday, Sept. 29. To sign up or for information stop at the Recreation Counter at the Rec. Center or call 775-832-1310. A minimum of 24 hours in advance is required for sign up. The suggested roundtrip minimum donation per rider is $3 plus an additional 50 cents for subsequent destinations. Special request and on-demand transportation is available for a roundtrip fee of $25 per senior Monday through Saturday.
