Womens shoes lined up outside the Dress the Part(y) store Saturday morning were quickly checked out and selected by the males that arrived to participate in the Tahoe Women's Services walk Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. Many even arrived with costumes and wigs. Signs calling for an end to domestic violence and abuse were carried as they walked.
Bryan Wallpe gave a short introduction to call the men and community together to support the end to domestic violence and support Tahoe Women's Services. Then the men waiting in the high heels took to the parking lot to Walk a Mile as they were cheered on by all that lined the way.
A photo gallery of the event will be available on Monday.
