The North Tahoe Junior Pee Wee Rams traveled to Reno this past Saturday night to face another good Reno team.
Playing under the lights was a great experience for boys their age, according to their coaches. Unfortunately, the Rams came up short again, despite owning time of possession by a 3-1 margin and gaining over 200 yards on the ground, thanks to strong running by Preston Hoff, Micheal Hartman and Max Wilderman.
Adjusting to a late-season change in the offensive playbook, the Rams sustained long drives only to come up short, committing four interceptions to end hopes of victory.
Hartman's long touchdown pass to Wilderman provided inspiration in a 27-7 loss to Reno White. The Rams are looking forward to their next game against the Sparks Steelers, showing no sign of quit.

Junior Midget Rams rout Fallon
The Junior Midget Rams played Fallon on Saturday afternoon in Fallon, showing more of their hard-nosed approach, controlling both lines of scrimmage, enabling the offense to run at will to help the defense notch its first shutout of the season. The defensive highlight of the game came on a third-quarter interception by defensive tackle Juan Estrada, which was returned for a TD to seal a 21-0 victory in which all players contributed in the one-sided win.
The Rams are eager for Friday night's game against Douglas, a traditional rival, as they look to continue building momentum going into the playoffs.
