INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — Tahoe Family Solutions and the North Lake Tahoe Community Health Care Auxiliary will again join together in presenting an annual collaborative community event, the Sink ‘Em Golf Tournament.
These two nonprofit organizations are at the heart of the North Shore's commitment in safeguarding and improving the lives and health of children and families.
The Sink ‘Em Golf Tournament has a rich five-year history and is considered to be one of the premier golf events in North Lake Tahoe. The 2011 event will feature a unique and professional golfing experience on one of the most beautiful courses in the area, the Incline Village Championship Course.
A golfer and sponsor reception will immediately follow the tournament; a silent auction and complimentary wine and lunch will be featured. Golfers should register early as there are limited spaces on the course.
This year's event will be held on Monday, Sept. 12, at the Champ Course. Shotgun tee-off begins at 8:30 a.m., with the reception, luncheon and silent auction immediately following in the Tahoe Grand Ballroom of The Chateau.
Golf registration is $150 per person which includes green fees, golf cart, putting contest, reception, luncheon and prizes. Guests and non-golfers are welcome to attend the luncheon for $35 per person. Tournament includes prizes for contests such as Hole-In-One, Putting Contest, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro. Mulligan purchases will be available.
Tahoe Family Solutions is dedicated to providing affordable mental health services, educational support and camping for at-risk youth as well as family referral services. The health care auxiliary raises funds for Incline Village Community Hospital, as well as giving scholarships to local students studying in the medical field.
Excellent sponsorship opportunities are available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about the event, contact Robin Glasgow at the TFS offices at 775-298-0203, or via e-mail at robing@tahoefamily.org. Learn more at www.sinkem.org.
