LAKE TAHOE — Outside of a small chance of snow Sunday night, it appears the Tahoe/Truckee region will remain dry for the near future.

According to the National Weather Service in Reno, there is a slight chance of snow showers after 10 p.m. Sunday, with snow levels falling to 5,900 feet.

From there, high temperatures are forecast for the mid- to upper-40s into next Thursday.

Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 11. East wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 47. East wind around 5 mph.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. Southwest wind between 5 and 10 mph.

Sunday Night: A slight chance of rain and snow showers after 10pm. Snow level 7200 feet lowering to 5900 feet. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 44.

Monday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 14.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 46.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 19.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 47.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 49.
