INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. — OK I want to know who forgot to do the snow dance last weekend? I thought everyone would be out there dancing and we could enjoy lots of the beautiful white stuff, not just a dusting. Please see what can be done for this weekend, I know it is Super Bowl weekend but a Saturday dance would really do the trick. C'mon Tahoe — believe.
What a great community. Thank you to everyone that provided food helped or attended the community send off celebration Friday for George and Irma LeBard Friday evening.
Not many sent in Super Bowl party plans but the seniors are going to party at Aspen Grove. And Linda Offerdahl told me she is stocked to help all of the sports fans enjoy the day even if SF is not in the game. So head into Dress the Part(y) and get ready for some football!
It's February and time for the Dads in Drag Fashion Show from the Kings Beach Parents Coop. This event is from 7-10 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Big Water Grille. For tickets call 775-771-3306 or contact roxkai@aol.com.
Tahoe SAFE Alliance Father/Daughter dance is from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Tahoe Biltmore. Purchase tickets online at tahoesafealliance.org or call 775-298-0010 for information. This is a very special night for fathers and daughters.
The annual Incline Elementary School PTA Bids for Kids Denim and Diamonds dinner and auction at The Chateau is happening again in March, but if you purchase tickets before Feb. 16, you get a discount.
The event is on Sunday, March 24, and tickets are available via email from robynhugar@me.com or jareber@yahoo.com, or at the Potlatch.
Incline Village Relay for Life is meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Donald W. Rey nolds Community Non-Profit Center. Anyone interested in participating, putting together a team or helping is invited to attend to learn more about the annual Incline Village Relay for Life event. The event will be held July 28-29 at Incline High School. Come to the February meeting to meet other members of the community working on this event and a few committee positions are also available.
